The Company’s Board appoints the members of the Executive Management Team. The Executive Management is chaired by the COO and comprises other senior management appointed by the Board. The Executive Management Team meets regularly to address matters concerning the entire Group. The Executive Management Team is not a decision-making body of the Company. It assists the COO in the implementation of the Group strategy and in operational management. The Executive Management Team is responsible for managing the Company’s core business operations as a whole, which requires planning of various development processes, Group principles and Group practices, as well as monitoring the development of financial matters and Group business plans. The Executive Management Team convenes monthly and minutes are kept of the meetings. The Board of Directors have approved the charter of the Executive Management Team.
Chris founded Halo late in 2019 and plays an overseeing role in the daily operations. Chris was co-founder and Codirector of the EMPR Group in 1996. EMPR supported the Top Five (5) Computer Services Companies Globally. At its height, EMPR had offices in China, the United States, New Zealand, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Chris retired from EMPR in 2021. Continuing with his passion for philanthropy work, which he started whilst at EMPR, working alongside Starlight Children’s Foundation, Chris wanted to help not just people, but also animals. This passion guided Chris to create two Mobile Apps, Halo “Give a better world” and Baxta “A Pet-Friendly World”.
Armed with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from one of the world’s top-ranking modern universities – the University of Wollongong, Corey has been with Halo since conception in 2018. He is the driving force in planning, executing and achieving Halo’s business and operational goals. Corey manages the day-to-day running of the company. His leadership and vision are what moves Halo’s multidisciplinary team forward toward success.
With a career in Human Resources spanning more than 15 years, Ash is a strategic people and culture executive who is passionate about supporting businesses in unlocking the potential of their greatest resource – their people.
Ash took this passion and channelled it into founding People Co., a consultancy focused on designing people strategies that align with key business objectives and crafting people processes to deliver world-class employee experiences. Ash and her team work with a diverse range of clients from startups and small businesses to global corporations on strategies to develop leaders, build teams and help employees thrive.

Employed as a university graduate in 1987, Drew’s dedication, innovation and consistent ability to exceed client expectations saw his career fast-tracked. Drew was promoted to Partner, Audit and Assurance Services, on the 1st of January 1994.

Drew has extensive knowledge in valuing businesses and shares, preparing prospectuses, independent accountants’ reports and undertaking detailed due diligence for acquisition and vendors. In undertaking these roles he has developed extensive knowledge of the rules and regulations of ASIC and the ASX.
